Deer head prototype by PlushPaws Deer head prototype by PlushPaws
Its going to e a stylized Deer, not that realistic, but quite cute.

Tissue lame, isn't the best when making antlers >__> stuff ripped soo easy.. maybe the liquid lame will work better idk.

I tried to hand embroider its nose with size 3 Pearl Cotton, didn't go too well.. the needle kept getting stuck, and even my pliers could hardly get it out.

and sad to say I'm out of grey minky, so the body is going to be a different color X'D good thing its just a prototype.

It looks awesome so far; I can't wait to see the finished, non-prototype deer :D It's a shame you don't have enough gray minky fabric for it, it looks great like that :) I also like the fabric you picked for the antlers, and that you put it inside the ears, too; it kind of creates a sort of balance. Were you planning on using that for the hooves, too, or have you not found anything for that, yet? Either way, though, I think it looks great so far!

Thanks soo much, the none prototype was suppose to be White and silver, but the lame tissue aka what I used for the horns and ears, rips easy =C

and yes, if I can find a similar fabric that is slightly stronger, I would love to use it for the hooves as well.

White and silver would look beautiful for that! I wonder if I could find any fabric that might be good around here; I could perhaps suggest something that might be a bit stronger. I can't think of anything off the top of my head, though, maybe I can go visit the fabric store later and see what kinds of fabric they have :) I hope you find something good to use in time to make it for Christmas!

that would be wonderful! I sadly have no fabric stores around where I live, so everything has to come from online =C

Oh, that's terrible D: You can order swatches and stuff to see if any particular fabric would work, though, right? Oh, and what's the fabric that you used for the antlers here called? (Is it just lame tissue (tissue lame?), or is there a somewhat more official name for it? :P )

Haha, that is an odd name. I'll keep an eye out for you, and see if there's anything that might be useful at the fabric store :)
